Alyssa whittington
Creative Director & Choreographer
Alyssa strives off of individuality and creativity. She believes that no dancer should be the same and that everyone has their own story. Dance has been a big part of her life, and she wants everyone to get that as well- this is why Alyssa chose to become a dance teacher. Her dance journey started at the age of three. Along with dance, she used to be a competitive gymnast and All-Star cheerleader for several years. She has trained in many dance styles, including contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop, jazz, ballet and breakdance.
Over the years of her teaching and choregraphing many routines she has learned to create of off students’ strengths. She has had many winning routines at competitions like Spotlight Dance Cup, Groove Dance, Thunderstruck and many others. She has brought home top choreography awards, first overall trophies, and national winning title awards. Her choreography sets her apart from others, with each dance different and versatile. From competing for many years, teaching and working as a backstage manager at Spotlight Dance Cup, she has many experiences in the competition world.
Alyssa loves her students and is passionate about each individual. She takes the time to learn every one of her student’s talents and ability. Alyssa is fun, patient, and compassionate. She guides students into boosting their confidence, developing new skills, and creating their own individuality.
